Wamberal Community Group
Wamberal Community Group is a broad based community association founded in 1990. The group seeks to benefit residents by working to protect and preserve the environment, promote healthy activities and enhance community safety.
The third concert in Symphony Central Coast’s 2017 concert series is this Sunday 17 September.
The concert will start at 2:30PM at the Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS) Performing Arts Centre.
Elections for the new Central Coast Council are tomorrow.
Wamberal is largely in the south of the Entrance Ward and the nearest polling booths are at:
– 1st Terrigal Scout Hall
– Erina Heights Public School

– Wamberal Memorial Hall
– Wamberal Public School
The Terrigal women who provided a surf lifesaving rescue service from 1942 -1945 as men went off to the Second World War are to receive their bronze medallions after a wait of 75 years.
The Terrigal ANZAC Day Dawn March will commence at 5:15 am.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will commence at 5:30 am at the Cenotaph at Terrigal Beach.
The ANZAC Day Main Service will commence at 11:00 am at the Breakers Country Club.
After examining the evidence, many people are coming to the conclusion that a large 80 place child care centre right on the intersection of the Central Coast Highway and Old Gosford Road is just too risky.

The concert will start at 4:00PM at the Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS) Performing Arts Centre.
Many in the community are concerned about a very large 80 place child care centre right at roundabout with the Central Coast Highway and Old Gosford Road. They fear for the safety of children and feel that the location of the site so close to the intersection makes it unsuitable for a child care centre.
It has been a big year with many challenges with huge efforts to protect our parks, Memorial Hall and environment for the future but we have had many terrific outcomes with 2017 shaping up to be a positive year for our local community.
