Tell Council what you think about 80 babies and young children playing in front of a four-lane roundabout on a state highway carrying over 20,000 cars and trucks each day.
Should a child care centre be built at a four-lane roundabout on a State Highway? A week before Xmas and Council want to approve a large child care centre at a notorious intersection on the Central Coast Highway.
Why are they ignoring the obvious safety risks to babies and children?
Why are they trying to rubber stamp the approval a week before Xmas?
Why are the not addressing planning rules or safety standards?
Many in the community are concerned about a very large 80 place child care centre right at roundabout with the Central Coast Highway and Old Gosford Road. They fear for the safety of children and feel that the location of the site so close to the intersection makes it unsuitable for a child care centre.
