Wamberal Community Group is a broad based community association founded in 1990. The group seeks to benefit residents by working to protect and preserve the environment, promote healthy activities and enhance community safety.

Bronze Medallions have been presented to our first female lifesavers who served during World War II.
Six of the lifesavers were present to receive their Bronze Medallions in a red carpet event in front of hundreds of people in what is believed to be another first: the largest Bronze Medallion presentation Australia has ever seen.
Expressions of interest to fill two local community positions for the Wamberal Terminal Protection Project Working Group.
The Project Working Group will make recommendations to the Council on how to manage beach erosion on Wamberal Beach.
