Wamberal Community Group is a broad based community association founded in 1990. The group seeks to benefit residents by working to protect and preserve the environment, promote healthy activities and enhance community safety.
Should a child care centre be built at a four-lane roundabout on a State Highway? A week before Xmas and Council want to approve a large child care centre at a notorious intersection on the Central Coast Highway.
Why are they ignoring the obvious safety risks to babies and children?
Why are they trying to rubber stamp the approval a week before Xmas?
Why are the not addressing planning rules or safety standards?
Bronze Medallions have been presented to our first female lifesavers who served during World War II.
Six of the lifesavers were present to receive their Bronze Medallions in a red carpet event in front of hundreds of people in what is believed to be another first: the largest Bronze Medallion presentation Australia has ever seen.
Expressions of interest to fill two local community positions for the Wamberal Terminal Protection Project Working Group.
The Project Working Group will make recommendations to the Council on how to manage beach erosion on Wamberal Beach.

The Terrigal women who provided a surf lifesaving rescue service from 1942 -1945 as men went off to the Second World War are to receive their bronze medallions after a wait of 75 years.
The Terrigal ANZAC Day Dawn March will commence at 5:15 am.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will commence at 5:30 am at the Cenotaph at Terrigal Beach.
The ANZAC Day Main Service will commence at 11:00 am at the Breakers Country Club.
After examining the evidence, many people are coming to the conclusion that a large 80 place child care centre right on the intersection of the Central Coast Highway and Old Gosford Road is just too risky.
