Pedestrian safety

Old Gosford Road and Lucinda Avenue footpath upgrades

Gosford Council is resuming work on Old Gosford Road and Lucinda Avenue.

Council will continue the footpath from near Plymouth Avenue to just past the eastern side of Ghersi Avenue. The footpath is essential to make it safer for pedestrians – especially children and the elderly. You can expect the inevitable delays and detours between July and November as the work is carried out, so please be patient and drive safely.

Work is also expected to start on continuing the footpath along Lucinda Avenue and past the Wamberal Memorial Hall to link up with Ocean View Drive. This will provide a much-needed improvement for pedestrians and cars accessing the hall.
